What cultural traits help an organisation transform faster? What’s the best role for communication professionals to play in shaping culture and what are the most effective tactics for embedding new mindsets and ways of working?
If you've asked yourself these questions then this event hosted at Facebook's Melbourne HQ is not to be missed!
A global study found that 96% of companies are in the midst of organisational transformation, including mergers and acquisitions, business model changes, strategy shifts, and digitalisation. Yet two out of three planned changes are unsuccessful — often due to cultural barriers and change resistance.
In light of this, communication professionals must help to shape their organisation’s culture to keep pace with — and even accelerate — transformation goals.
Join us on Thursday 22 November to hear from two industry experts who will give you the information and insights you need to tackle these challenges in your organisation.
Patryck Allen is the Director of Advisory with Gartner (formally CEB). He spends half his time helping marketing and communication leaders diagnose and solve specific executive challenges using Gartner’s peer-driven research and case studies, and the other half of this time-sharing insight, best-practices, and practical tools with broader leadership teams through the facilitation of on-site and phone-based presentations and workshops.
Patryck has worked in Strategy Consulting and Executive Advisory for seven years and holds a degree in
International Business and a PhD in Chemistry. He lives in Sydney with his wife and his beautiful three year old
Helen Przygodzki is the Head of Internal Communications at Facebook, APAC and a communications professional with over 20 years’ experience spanning journalism, consulting, and corporate communication. She has served multinationals, including Dow Jones, McKinsey & Company, Google, and Facebook.
Over the last 10 years, Helen has specialised in employee-facing communication and engagement, including
communicating strategy, trusted advisor to senior executives, embedding culture and values, managing brand
reputation internally and crisis communications.
